R&D
Prototyping
SIAPI believes in research because innovation and progress are our creed and every year we invest considerable resources in research and development. Our R&D Department transforms experience into technology and customers' demand into reality, using a systematic method of analysis, development and control, as well as involving and working in close synergy with all the company's departments.
SIAPI prototypes are created to a strict procedure, working on customers' requirements. The new R&D Department makes a feasibility study of the project and finds the best solution through in-house prototyping, analyses and laboratory tests.
QUALITY SYSTEM
Quality is a fundamental value for SIAPI. The certification we have achieved (EN ISO 9001, EN ISO 14001) testify to our vocation for constant improvement in our products, which feature high standards of functionality, duration and reliability. The SIAPI Quality System establishes strict policies and mandatory standards, shared and applied by outsourcers. Total product quality is therefore guaranteed from start to finish and every step and element of the complex production supply chain is carefully analysed and tested, starting with the raw materials used. SIAPI's strict quality parameters also apply to all mechanical, electric and electronic components on the blowers, as well as all elements of the application and process. Before delivery and set-up, each project must pass accurate in-house validation that certifies full observance of the necessary requisites. All containers undergo many laboratory tests to ensure they conform perfectly to a series of checks on measurements, ergonomics, capacity and mechanical strength.
ECO-BUSINESS
SIAPI believes in sustainable technological progress and has always directed its research to products with low impact on energy and the environment. This has produced the blowing air recovery system applicable to all our machines, that guarantees average savings of up to 40% against conventional solutions. Added to this is the development and application of new generation high efficiency ovens that considerably reduce energy consumption and therefore costs, due to process optimization and increased hourly production. The industrial direction taken by our company, which has led to achievement of EN ISO 14001 certification, is part of a broader strategic project. The problem of consumption involves us directly, given the current world situation, where energy sources are diminishing, causing an increase in production costs. We believe that in this context companies can contribute to sustainable growth and progress: that's why we design innovative blower machines that save energy.
EXTRA LARGE
WIDE MOUTH CONTAINERS
STANDARD
SIAPI has strengthened its competitive edge also due to containers and bottles dedicated to the beverage trade, achieving productivity of up to 24,000 bph.
Over the past years, SIAPI has also specialized in "Wide Mouth" technology, launching the linear blow-molding machine series EAWM with 1-2-3-4 cavities, for containers with a mouth diameter up to 180 mm and with a 12 l capacity.
Today, SIAPI has become a company of reference for its customers who are implementing these applications and offers a full service solution that starts from selecting the pre-form to producing the containers, with a preliminary prototyping stage for application validation.
These containers are used in a wide range of applications, including food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, paints, and many others. Four EA1WM-U were recently installed for various types of jars in the North African and North American markets.

SIAPI's linear technology meets the most complex needs but involves reduced investments, lower than those required for rotary machines, while providing maximum reliability and improved process flexibility.
Preferential heating and handle incorporation are available on our entire range of blowers for Standard and Wide Mouth applications.
In addition, handle incorporation can also be configured on Extra Large container blowers.

SIAPI machines blow PET containers and bottles with special shapes, in this way meeting the market's particular needs.
For SIAPI "special" means:
- preferential heating for asymmetrical and oval bottles
- handles modelled onto the bottle
- mold-blowers that insert the handle directly in the mold
- mold-blowers with handle attachment after blowing
HEAT SET
HANDLEMATIC 360°
SIAPI has patented an automatic system for inserting handles on two-stage linear blowers. This innovative method applies the handle directly in the mold - during or after the blowing stage – to any type of container, obtaining a perfect fit between the container and the handle. Moreover, the HandleMatic 360° concept can be applied for developing an ergonomic fit in the body of the container.
This system can be used on the entire range of blowers and has received much attention in the large PET water container sector.
HandleMatic 360° makes it possible not to give up on container functionality while providing all the added benefits that are provided by a container in PET, such as lighter weight, eco-sustainability and simplified production.
SIAPI can apply Heat Set technology to its range of Standard and Wide Mouth blowers to make PET containers for hot filling.
Heat Set configuration for hot filling is applied to bottles of up to 1.5 litres, with 28 and 38 mm necks and wide mouth jars in PET.
Our new Research & Development department makes a feasibility study of each project to identify the best solution through in-house prototyping, analyses and laboratory tests. One of our latest models of note is a new blower for 60 gr. PET jars with 63 mm diameter mouths, in addition to a wide range of applications for PP.

Over the past months, the HandleMatic 360° system has been successfully implemented in:
- North America: handle insertion during the blowing phase with EA2S blow-molding machines for the production of 5 gallon, 680g refillable water containers – handle in PET
- North Africa: handle insertion in the bottle body after blowing with the EA7 and EA4 blow-molding machines for the production of bottles for oil in various formats, up to 2 liters– handle in HDPE
- Northern Europe: insertion of the handle in the bottle neck after blowing with the EA2S blow-molding machine for the production of 20 l bottles for the chemical sector – handle in HDPE
- Russia + CIS: development of an ergonomic container handle for EA2 and EA2M blow-molding machines for the production of water and oil bottles up to 5 liters.
