"Michael Feltes is bringing comprehensive sales experience into his new position and is also a China expert of long standing", states Dr. Christoph Steger, CSO of the ENGEL Group. "We are very happy to have gained Michael Feltes for this challenging task."

Michael Feltes has been with Engel for three and a half years, during this time heading the Business Unit Packaging at ENGEL headquarters in Schwertberg, Austria. Previously, he held leading positions in tool building in Shanghai, Suzhou and Wuxi for more than seven years.

As the President Sales & Service of WINTEC, Michael Feltes is responsible for the continu- ing development of the WINTEC brand and its penetration into the worldwide target mar- kets.

Sales area significantly expanded
Since 2014, WINTEC has been building premium injection moulding machines for standard applications in Changzhou. Initially only available in Asia, the hydraulic WINTEC t-win and all-electric WINTEC e-win became rapidly established in the plastics industry. WINTEC has been able to consistently increase the sales numbers. Markets such as Iran and South Afri- ca were successively added. In May 2018, WINTEC is taking the next big step and expand- ing its sales to the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. The sales and service management in America is being taken on by Peter Auinger, who will be reporting to Michael Feltes as President WINTEC Americas.

Peter Auinger has been with WINTEC from the get-go, and is bringing a wealth of experi- ence in the American markets into his new position. Prior to the founding of WINTEC, he managed the sales and service branch of ENGEL in Mexico.

Mark Feng, the previous President Sales & Service of WINTEC in Changzhou, is leaving the ENGEL Group by mutual agreement. "We thank Mr. Feng for his outstanding commitment and wish him all the best for his professional and personal future", says Steger.
