The Maltese soft drinks sector was of 54million litres in 2021 and creates more than 450 direct jobs.
The Croatian beverage sector supports more than 5,000 jobs and generated a turnover of €111m in 2021.
Welcoming both members, Ian Ellington, President of UNESDA and Senior Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer for PepsiCo in Europe, declared: ‘’I am very pleased to see this expansion in UNESDA’s membership and to welcome our two new members – the Maltese Beverage Producers Association and the Croatian Chamber of Economy – to our European family.
