With the delivery of a RingExtruder RE7 XPV for high quality bottle to bottle recycling Extricom GmbH sets once again a milestone for the worldwide recycling of PET bottles.
| The high-duty plant is based on a RingExtruder RE® 7 XPV with a throughput of 3.500 kg/h PET bottle flakes. This plant is installed in Eastern Europe and will be in operation in January 2011. The yearly capacity of 27.500 tons recycled PET with one RingExtruder RE® 7 XPV means the production of 680 million 1-litre bottles (80 grams bottle weight, for carbonated soft drinks) with 50% recycling rate. |
PET bottle recycling is today very common due to rising consciousness of environment and sustainability. Simultaneously the demand for high quality recycling material is required.
Capability characteristics of the RingExtruder are highest product quality due to high decontamination capacity and low total energy consumption for the complete extrusion line.
