   The packaging market is in continuous evolution and SMIPACK, one of the world's largest manufacturers of manual, semi-automatic and automatic L-sealer machines, has been successfully meeting for years the growing demand for flexible, compact, low-cost and innovative packaging machines. SMIPACK's brand new proposal is the new series of ßP monoblock shrinkwrappers, thanks to which customers can manage their production lines in an efficient and flexible manner, safely and with minimum operating costs.The technical innovations of the ßP series are now also available on the new 90° infeed-models: with automatic product grouping and pack formation (ßP800AR, ßP802AR 230R and ßP802AR 280RS) and without automatic product grouping (ßP800AR 340P and ßP802AR 340P). At Drinktec 2009 SMIPACK will be exhibiting the ßP802AR 280RS, a monoblock shrinkwrappar with sealing bar, capable of satisfying all production needs of up to 22 packs /minute, which distinguishes itself for: high versatility: bottles, cans, briks, jars and many more loose containers can be packaged in shrink film according to various configuration patterns. 90° infeed: it takes place by means of an automatic left or right conveyor, equipped with a pusher. Pack formation: it is managed by an automatic product grouping system.         Wide employment: it is suitable to different market sectors, like: drinks, food, chemicals, wines, spirits, cosmetics, detergents, textiles, graphics, etc. Flextron© control system: it stores up to 10 work programs and ensures a simple and accurate control of all machine's parameters and production phases. Oven belt: it is equipped with fiber-glass bars and is provided with a supplementary chain for the improved handling of heavier packs. New automatic handle applicators: the HA seriesSMIPACK HA series' automatic handle applicators are stand-alone machines, usually positioned just after a shrinkwrapper, and are extremely versatile. In fact, they can be used to apply pre-cut cardboard handles, PP roll-fed handles and kraft paper roll-fed handles. The HA 80 model displayed at Drinktec 2009 has been designed to ideally satisfy the market demand for newer packaging solutions, since the final packaging more and more frequently plays the role of primary advertising tool for the success of a single product.       SMIPACK's new handle applicators are available in different models: HA 40, HA 60 and HA 80. They are compact machines featuring a monoblock frame, and perfectly meets the needs of those customers who have small production sites only available. The competitiveness of new HA handle applicators is further enhanced by the Flextron© automation system used by SMIPACK, which allows to easily and accurately control all machine functions.Precision, reliability and high yields are guaranteed by the product-draging innovative system and by the new label-picking motorised system, which is synchronised with the label magazine. SMIPACK's new HA handle applicators are equipped, as standard features, with an automatic label-centering system and with a reel-holding device with pneumatic locking, motorised and controlled by an inverter.
