SIAPI is recognized by the market as a worldwide influencer of the conversion from metal kegs to one-way packaging of PET. SIAPI is now reference for all aspects of this particular technology, working side by side with resin and preform producers, testing new PET blends and finding the best option to fit with all kind of breweries. In addition, SIAPI has been developing research on valves in order to deliver high quality and safe product to the end users in bars, pubs and restaurants. A key indicator is that new geographical areas are interested in PET kegs, understanding that this packaging allows small and medium breweries or wineries to open their business to new markets reducing transport incidence on the final end user price.
About recent success in the beer industry, SIAPI installed an innovative automatic line for 30 liters PET kegs in Russia, involving top-quality Italian manufacturers of filling and capping machines. SIAPI is now able to offer a turnkey project with maximum speed of 500 kegs per hour, including end of line solution for managing 30 liters containers. Our engineering team is collaborating with other partners to implement the best technical equipment for this application and the effort has successfully brought to a full integration. A part from machinery, SIAPI’s R&D is continuously working on packaging development of kegs, finding new ideas of handling, shape and customization.
