Monarc's Settra Series - Bags made using 100 recycled plastic bottles
According to Startup company Monarc their Settra Series, premium bags made using 100 recycled plastic bottles, has raised over 75,000 dollars on Kickstarter since launching on Earth Day.
Monarc claims on their website that each bag is engineered with durable ‘global recycled standard certified’ rPET fabric made from recycled plastic bottles to reduce their CO2 emissions during production by up to 79%.
The company states that all packaging, down to the tape used to close the boxes, will be plastic-free. Individual large drawstring bags made of certified rPET fabric were designed for shipping, which can also be used for storing the bags or for other purposes.
According to the business the entire series comes with two compression packs and a laundry bag that allows clothes to be arranged and condensed for travel, a camera and lens gear case with divided inserts to protect and organize the equipment, and a tech pack to keep all of cords, drives, chargers and other digital tackle in order.
