Sacmi Group, mission Latin AmericaThe Beverage & Packaging business unit presents itself to South American customers

2:90 min Management
Imola, Italy

An opportunity for customers and suppliers to get together, so that the former can gain a clearer understanding of the technological potential, services, sales set-up and assistance offered by the Group yet also so that suppliers can get a better understanding of a market of enormous potential with a fast-growing customer base that is ever-more attentive to product quality. This, then, is the aim of a series of meetings organised by the Sacmi Group Beverage & Packaging Division in South America, the first of which was held on 30th June at the “A Figueira Rubaiyat” restaurant in Sao Paolo, Brazil. No casual choice, the suggestive location proved to be the ideal venue in which to present South American customers with the very best of European technology, not to mention a style and excellence that shows even in the approach to new markets – a significant competitive factor in Sacmi’s view.Sacmi took advantage of this first meeting to give an overview of the Group, its subsidiaries, products and services for the bottling industry. The invitees included the major South American bottlers, who received a detailed illustration of the Group’s various companies, especially Sacmi Imola, Sacmi Labelling, Sacmi Filling, Sacmi Packaging and Benco Pack. After Sao Paolo the next meeting was held on 3rd July at the prestigious Faena Hotel of Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Attendance by local entrepreneurs was outstanding. More specifically, the Brazilian event attracted companies of the calibre of Coca Cola Femsa, Vompar, Reckitt, Avon, Cocacola Uberlandia, Vedat, Nestlé Waters, Danone, Tapon Corona, Acrilex. In Argentina, instead, there was, once again, Coca Cola Femsa plus Coca cola Reginald lee, Cerveceria y Malteria Quilmes, Baesa, Bodegas Chandon; Danone, Patagonia Juice, Coca Cola Slad and Amcor.
