RPC is consolidating its cosmetics and personal care operations, previously split between RPC Bramlage-Wiko (personal care and toiletries) and RPC beauté (make up and fragrance) into a single entity under the RPC Bramlage-Wiko umbrella. The combined technical resources and expertise of the new operation will offer customers an enhanced service in terms of both sales support, and product development and choice. As part of this reorganisation and as previously announced, the RPC beauté site in Mozzate, Italy is to be closed and its operations transferred to the French site of Marolles which will become part of RPC Bramlage-Wiko. The site has recently undergone a major upgrade, including a new building, extension to the production workshops and significant investment in enhanced productivity and automation. A comprehensive compensation plan is being offered to Mozzate employees. The new RPC Bramlage-Wiko operation will have sales of 250 M€, with activities in fragrance, colour cosmetics, personal care and toiletries. It has 11 production sites in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and the USA, and partnerships in Russia and Thailand, with plans to develop several more. All sites will be able to take advantage of the enhanced technical, design and development resources of the new division. RPC Bramlage-Wiko is headed by Alfons Böckmann. Gérald Martines, previously General Manager RPC beauté becomes Business Development Director of RPC Bramlage-Wiko. Jean-Philippe Caspar has been appointed General Manager of the Marolles site. Blandine Roger retains her position as Sales Director.
