PETnologyEurope2024 is in the books – thank you for an all inspiring event for the PET packaging industry!
The 29th PETnology Conference lived up to its promise: the extraordinary setting of the venue on the shores of Lake Zurich created a very special atmosphere. 150 participants enjoyed the get-together, the high-quality presentations, the barbecue in the venue garden and the Open House at Otto Systems. As with previous PETnology events, there was much praise for the perfect organisation.

Over 2 days we discussed Material Technology solutions, PET preform processing, Caps & Closures, Quality, as well as System Thinking on Blowing and Filling Concepts and PET Recycling Technologies.
We had an inspiring keynote by Coop’s Darko Stojanovic with the title “From PE to PET for Dairy Products - A Retailer's Perspective“, which kicked off the conference in a brilliant way.
Furthermore, we hosted a thorough panel discussion on “Challenges Facing PET Preform Manufacturers Today” with Wolfgang Bonerath, CEO at RAWOPLAST GmbH, Otto Hofstetter, Owner and CEO at Otto Hofstetter AG as well as Reto Bamert, Global Sales Director at our lead sponsors Otto Systems AG.
The fantastic atmosphere at our Welcome Reception on the evening before the conference and at the BBQ in the venue's garden at the end of the first day perfectly captured the spirit of the event.
We finished the event with an Open House event at Otto Systems AG and we were able to get a first-hand view into their new TechCentre.
All this at the shores of Lake Zurich, a truly beautiful location!
