Replenish Bottling: Changing What a Bottle Can Be
NPE2015 attendees at the R&D/Leverage booth will see one of the company’s latest achievements, for California’s Replenish Bottling: a truly reusable packaging designed for consumer mixing. The company recently turned to R&D/Leverage for its injection molding expertise, when it was time to scale up from initial pilot molds, citing the supplier’s expertise, which it termed “second-to-none.”
The challenge to the R&D team was formidable. The Replenish team required molds designed for high-speed automation for six different parts used in an integrated, leak-proof bottle-interior reservoir design that would appeal to makers of a wide range of packaged goods.
“Together,” said the customer’s founder, “we are changing what a bottle can be.”
R&D/Leverage’s Repair and Refurbishment Program
In addition to its injection mold making expertise, the company has introduced a two-tiered Mold Maintenance Program that delivers new levels of time and cost efficiencies for makers of a wide range of consumer products – no matter if the mold was made by the company or not.
Unlike other mold repair companies, R&D/Leverage’s dedicated Mold Maintenance department boasts a full range of in-house technical expertise that assures our customers of fast, cost-efficient service that is unsurpassed in the industry.
“We have the full service know-how to help with everything from quick emergency repairs to extensive overhauls of a family of molds,” said Schiavone. “Our in-house expertise means faster turn-around, which enhances productivity for our customers. Evaluations, diagnosis, and refurbishment and repair of tooling and molds are all completed in our work center, by our team, which has more than 350 years of combined experience.”
