Fakuma, one of the international benchmarks for plastics processing, is an opportunity for the Group to showcase the latest technological innovations resulting from intensive R&D activities in the field of automation systems for plastics processing. In particular, visitors will have the opportunity to explore a complete range of solutions including dedusting, feeding, conveying, storage, drying, dosing, temperature control and cooling systems.
The PiovanGroup with its brands Piovan, Pelletron, Piovan Fdm and Thermal Care will be presenting numerous technological innovations at Fakuma 2024.

Among the important innovations presented for the first time will be HandlinkEvo, the new model of the manual coupling station that allows the operator to correctly match material sources to receivers, reducing errors thanks to a system of flashing coloured LEDs. It can be equipped with Easy3+ a management for centralised feeding systems, which in case of problems, such as an open circuit or material mismatch, it stops the feeding cycles and alerts the operator; GDS 5-E the new gravimetric dosing unit developed by Piovan Fdm, suitable for granules, additives and powders. It supports extruder operations in overfeed and underfeed modes, ensuring full control of the extrusion line; Easyfeed+ the new gravimetric dosing unit available in 4 sizes with throughput up to 200, 400, 600, and 800 kg/h and with variable configurations from 2 to 5 ingredients specifically designed for hungry mouth extrusion and injection molding processes, which require high dosing accuracy and homogeneous dispersion of additives; C20, the new compact dust collector designed to remove dust and angel hair that can cause imperfections. The design facilitates retrofitting, making C20 ideal for injection moulding and extrusion processes.
Other flagship products under the Piovan brand will also be featured, such as Modula, the best-in-class multiple hopper drying systems for injection processes that automatically adjusts and controls all operating parameters of each individual hopper; DPA, the compressed air dryer that can reach dew point values down to -40 °C. DPA at the exhibition will be presented in a special medical edition in combination with Moisture Minder, the solution for the in-line measurement of the moisture in the plastic granules; Easylink+ the automatic coupling station able to handle up to 60 inlets/outlets with pipe sizes from 40 to 76 mm with a minimum footprint; Pureflo, the vacuum receiver that eliminates the need of ordinary maintenance for cleaning; at the show it will be equipped with Ryng, the best solution for real-time production monitoring and the usage of the raw material; finally Easypure, the innovative odour removal system that can be equipped with Odor Minder, the electronic nose designed to improve the deodorisation process in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try out Winfactory 4.0, the software for the control and management of production process developed by Piovan for the supervision of the digital factory, which enables the tracking of every single batch of raw materials and finished products.
There will also be solutions in the field of cooling and temperature control, in particular the complete range of Easytherm temperature controllers under the Thermal Care brand, characterised by heat exchange efficiency and process reliability: Easytherm EW, Easytherm ETP100 and Easytherm Flow.
Also on display will be the Slim 1111, the Thermal Care air-cooled chiller with a compact design, capable of handling ambient air temperatures up to +40°. This chiller is applicable to all industries, providing maximum flexibility and energy-efficient operation.
Pelletron, part of the Group, will also present DeDuster® XP15 a conveying and dedusting solution with an unloading capacities from 500-1500 kg/h, ideal for the plastics industry.
During the entire exhibition, the Piovan team, including sales representatives and project managers, will be on hand to showcase the latest innovations, explain the unique features, and discuss tailored solutions designed to meet customers’ needs.
