Avoiding problems before they arise and resolving production issues as quickly as possible are critical, regardless of an operation’s size or location,” said John Galt, Husky’s President and CEO. “By working with Husky Services, customers are improving their businesses and can often see payback in as little as six months.”Husky Services offers operational consulting, design, project management and software, which help customers develop long-term, sustainable solutions that will positively affect their bottom line and ensure consistent productivity. Using a proactive, collaborative approach, customers can work with Husky Services to increase output, lower operating costs and manage energy consumption, regardless of market, size of operation and location. In addition to providing complete, high performance systems, Husky Services worked with PakTech, one of North America’s leading manufacturers of carrier handles for bottles, to improve overall operational efficiency. PakTech’s goal was to streamline operations and expand on its existing facility in an energy efficient and environmentally sustainable way. After a two week assessment of PakTech’s manufacturing facility, Husky Services made several factory planning recommendations to streamline the company’s infrastructure and reduce energy consumption, without having to replace their existing equipment.“We are always looking for ways to streamline our operations and become more energy efficient,” said Dan Shook, PakTech’s Director of Operations. “Husky helped us to reduce our environmental footprint and lower energy consumption so that we can run in a more efficient and cost-effective way. These improvements would never have been possible without the implementation of Husky’s initiatives.”
