The investment made by PACCOR France is aimed at diversifying its production and promoting the transition to a circular economy. It is supported by the French government as part of the France Recovery Plan.
PACCOR's DuoSmart® cup is a hybrid cardboard/plastic packaging solution for food and in particular dairy products. Combining a PP/rPP or PET/rPET insert and a cardboard sleeve, it is characterized by a perfect separability of the materials: A pre-cut strip allows the consumer to easily separate the carton from the plastic. Attached to the cup without glue, the cardboard is free of any residue that could impair its recycling.
It will soon be produced in France, one of its main markets, on three new production lines scheduled to start up in the fourth quarter of 2022.
This relocation benefits from the support for industrial investment in territories initiated by the French Ministry of Industry as part of the France Recovery Plan.
