Norner establish a company for commercialization of technology - Norner Verdandi AS

Tine Rørvik and Per Arne Sørlien   Norner AS currently delivers R & D services to a rapidly growing international client portfolio within the plastics value chain, from raw material producers to the companies who use plastics in their products. Norner will continue to expand these business areas but has also ambitions to commercialize new and exciting technologies through establishing Norner Verdandi.Norner Verdandis main task is to identify, take ownership and develop profitable businesses based on technology and knowledge in Norner or from other companies. Verdandi will transform good ideas into profitable business through close cooperation with Norner their research communities, international customers and other contacts, explains Tine Rørvik, CEO Norner AS. Per Arne Sørlien has been appointed Managing Director to build and develop this new business. He has extensive experience with business development. Among other things, he was central to the development of the innovative wood technology company Kebony. Norner is a dynamic and exciting environment with internationally recognized expertise which it is inspiring to be part of. In this environment there are a number of technologies that have great potential to build on within Norner Verdandi, says Per Arne Sørlien.Examples of these are plastic based on CO2 and the reduction of odour in the recycling of plastics. These are technologies that can make a difference to the industry and the international interest, says Per Arne Sørlien.
