Following an excellent 2010/11 financial year, NGR was also able to achieve its ambitious targets for the expired 2011/12 financial year and increase its sales revenues from EUR 19 million to EUR 24 million.
Recycling market opportunities seized. The worldwide demand for highly efficient and simple to operate plastics recycling machines is rising faster than the growth rate of the global economy. Against this background, NGR was able to further consolidate its technological leadership through the systematic expansion of its machine series, an increased market presence and not least, the enhancement of employee skills.
Apart from the European test centre in Feldkirchen, a strong impulse for the NAFTA economic region was generated by the opening of a second such centre in Norcross, Georgia, USA.
Top quality engineering as a success factor. The principle of ONE STEP recycling technology was subjected to a re-engineering and value analysis process and thus further developed. As a consequence, NGR recycling machines are now more energy efficient, operator-friendly and economic. In addition to the development of universally employable machines, new series facilitated the penetration of additional market segments.
Over 500 machines on every continent. NGR ensures customer advantages throughout the entire machine life cycle. Smoothly operating remote maintenance systems, Internet-based spare part management and rapid on-the-spot support by NGR engineers secure high levels of availability in tough everyday operations. Josef Hochreiter, the NGR CEO: “This service and hence our proximity to the customers are an integral part of our corporate concept.”
Moving with optimism towards a strong NGR future. The economic success of the past financial year permits the more rapid expansion of the company. NGR is to focus its efforts on the further strengthening of customer support, an increased global market presence and the innovative further development of company processes and products.
