THE APPOINTMENT OF RÜDIGER HILBERT AS COMMERCIAL AND MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR ITS GERMAN SUBSIDIARY
Sidel, the leading global provider of PET for liquid packaging, announces the appointment of Rüdiger Hilbert as Commercial and Managing Director for its German subsidiary. Rüdiger brings leadership skills, market knowledge and extensive experience in liquid food products to the new position. The appointment is part of Sidel's commitment to further enhancing and strengthening its presence in the German market, drawing on the company's strategy of providing global experience backed by local sales and service support through proximity to customers.
Before joining Sidel, Rüdiger spent over ten years working for Elopak, the packaging systems supplier for liquid food products. There, he held several positions in both engineering and management capacities, eventually becoming Global Head of Project Management. During this time, Rüdiger was responsible for managing the whole Equipment Supply Support department and, as part of this role, was heavily involved in the development of two new aseptic filling machines.

Rüdiger's market experience is supported by a strong background with his University of Applied Sciences degrees in both mechanical and industrial engineering complemented by a career which has seen him responsible for a number of major projects.
