New Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Greiner Group

The two holding companies of the Greiner Group, Greiner Holding AG and Greiner Bio-One International AG, have rearranged the chairmanship of the Supervisory Board. On the occasion of the Supervisory Board meeting that took place on 5 July 2010 it was decided that Prof. DDDr. Wolfgang Wiesner should pass the chair to DI Dr. Klaus Schützdeller. Prof. DDDr. Wolfgang Wiesner is now Deputy Chairman. On 19 June 2010, a new member was appointed to the Supervisory Board to replace Dipl.-Wi.-Ing. Kurt Greiner who died last May. (Doctor of Economics and Social Sciences). In the course of his professional career he filled leading positions at Dynamit Nobel (Fürth), Joh. Vaillant GbmH & Co (Remscheid), as well as Palfinger AG (Salzburg). Since 2003 DI Dr. Klaus Schützdeller has been in business for himself (CAP Holding GmbH, St. Gilgen). Moreover, he is a member of the Supervisory Boards of Wiehag GmbH (Altheim), Haas Waffel- und Keksanlagen-Industrie (Vienna), as well as Sport Eybl & Sports Experts AG and GmbH (Wels). He studied Chemistry (doctorate obtained in 1992) and additionally took Business Studies at the University of Marburg. At the beginning of his professional career he worked at the management consulting firm Arthur D. Little as consultant for the chemical industry. Afterwards he filled leading positions at the Rütgers Group (Essen), Rütgers Organics GmbH (Mannheim) and Bakelite AG (Iserlohn). Since 2005, he has been a member of the executive board of Freudenberg Vliesstoffe KG (Weinheim). It is one of the leading enterprises in the foamed material and plastics industry.
