New CEO for ENGEL North America

Beginning in April 2010 Mark Sankovitch (53) will be appointed CEO of ENGEL North America. He follows Steve Braig, who will leave the company until the end of March 2010. Mark Sankovitch has a 20-year experience with ENGEL and recently he was Regional Sales Manager in Chicago. Mark Sankovitch Mark Sankovitch has a BA in Chemistry from Central Michigan University and an MBA from Michigan State University. He worked five years in the chemicals industry before he changed to the ENGEL representation Fisher Sales in 1988 – in his last position he was General Manager. Since 2007 Sankovitch has been responsible for 13 US States as Regional Sales Manager at ENGEL North America. „North America is still in the strategic focus of ENGEL. Our technological strength has been enlarged with new machine concepts and application technological innovations. With the new management we want to continue the successful handling of the North American market and intensify the advice for our customers to strengthen their competitiveness” says Peter Neumann, CEO ENGEL Holding. Steve Braig has adjusted the organisation to the new market conditions in North America and will transfer his duties and responsibilities until 31st March to Mark Sankovitch.
