Mold-Masters, the global leader in hot runner and temperature controller technology, recently opened their first sales office in Moscow. Following a global expansion strategy this will enable to strengthen their position in Russia as well as providing closer interaction and dedicated services to local customers. Up until the end of 2008 the Russian market including CIS has been maintained by Mold-Masters' European headquarters in Baden-Baden, Germany.
Local sales and service in Russia will be provided through the partner company OOO Portmold. Using established resources and a skilled team, Mold-Masters will be able to quickly provide their complete hot runner product and service portfolio in this emerging market. Portmold has a long record of business success in Russia and well-established contacts in the injection molding industry. Synergies between both companies will enable for continuous growth and drive business in Russia and the CIS countries.
Head of the new branch will be Oliver Lindenberg, West European Sales Manager at Mold-Masters in Baden-Baden. Alexander Egorov will be in charge of sales and business development in Russia. Technical services and support will be headed up by Valery Minyayev, who has an extensive practical background in tool and mold-making.
