Mold-Masters signs agent agreement with Plastec USA

In a deal solidified at the 2012 NPE show, Mold-Masters signed an exclusive agent agreement with Plastec USA to handle product sales and service for the Latin American region. The agreement encompasses most Central and South American regions, including Mexico but excluding Brazil and Argentina, where Mold-Masters already has sales representation. The deal will allow Mold-Masters to utilize the skills and experience of the Plastec USA team, increasing overall presence in these important sales regions.We are excited about having the Plastec team on board. Plastec brings over 25 years of experience specializing in the sale of plastic processing machinery in Latin America. Since its inception, Plastec has enjoyed steady sales growth and is the largest Export Management Company for the US plastics industry in Latin America. The group employs a professional, bilingual sales and support staff at their home office in Miami, Florida and sister office in Mexico, with additional offices located throughout Central, South America and the Caribbean.Mold-Masters products are a good fit for our portfolio. Our team has a strong knowledge of hot runners and control systems. We can now offer our customers one point of contact for complete plastics processing systems, adds Ernesto J. Sosa, President and Owner of Plastec USA.The Plastec USA group will focus on the entire Mold-Masters product line including temperature controllers, hot runner systems and auxiliary injection units. The agreement commenced on April 9, 2012.
