Mold-Masters' flagship product line, Master-Series®, is now available with new options for base level applications. Starting at the upcoming Chinaplas show, April 17 - 20, 2008, customers will be able to enjoy the proven reliability, performance and support of Mold-Masters' products and services at a more competitive price.Customers molding uncomplicated parts with commodity grades of resins may not need the precision temperature control or complex nozzle geometries offered in our full featured Master-Series® product says Jonathon Fischer, President and CEO of Mold-Masters.With the support of our technical experts, the customer can now choose which group of features they need for a given application and only pay for technology they need.On the other end of the scale, customers who have more demanding applications like high cavitation, tight pitch, multi-material, filled or high temperature resins, can now select options for high pressure capability, custom nozzle geometries, corrosion resistance, extra sensing options and high temperature wiring. It's like shopping for a new car, says Patrick Bennett, Executive VP, Mold-Masters. Buyers have a choice between full featured luxury models or more entry level base models. Both use the same core elements but allow users to choose the features that suit their needs.According to Mr. Fischer, hot runners today are used in about 50% of all molds and growing. That means that there is a more diverse group of molders running hot runners than ever before, says Fischer. Not all of them are running technically demanding applications, yet, they need a hot runner which has superior support, performance and reliability. By offering optional features which target a broader spectrum of customers, Mold-Masters believes it can attract a greater number of these customers to choose them.
