Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced that at Chinaplas 2012 (April 18 – 21, Shanghai, China) it is introducing its HyCAP™ High Performance Package (HPP) system, the world's fastest system for the production of injection molded beverage closures. Husky will also be showcasing its latest technologies for the beverage packaging, medical and hot runner markets, once again demonstrating that it provides customers with complete systems and suites of products optimized to work together, allowing it to be the single-source provider for customers’ injections molding equipment needs.
Located at Booth #E2E01, Husky will have two systems running, including its revolutionary HyCAP HPP system which provides industry-leading productivity. Also running at Husky’s booth will be its H-PET AE™ (all-electric) injection molding system which offers exceptional value and provides lower volume preform manufacturers with the same high level of quality, reliability and after-sales support customers expect from Husky.
Chinaplas will serve as the global debut of Husky’s HyCAP HPP system, which offers up to 20% faster cycle times over the next leading injection molding competitor and up to 20% less energy consumption over its previous generation product. By maximizing efficiencies through the integration of machine and mold technologies and eliminating certain wasted processes and movements, Husky is able to provide customers with industry-leading productivity without sacrificing part quality.
In addition, Husky will be demonstrating its comprehensive range of solutions for PET preform manufacturing with its H-PET AE injection molding system. H-PET AE is a complete, cost-effective solution for lower volume and custom preform producers and leverages Husky’s depth of experience in PET to provide a reliable, efficient and flexible solution that produces high quality preforms.
Husky will also be demonstrating a medical workcell at its Shanghai Technical Center consisting of its H-MED AE™ (all-electric) injection molding machine for cleanroom medical molding, Ultra SideGate™ hot runner, Altanium® temperature controller and Shotscope NX® process and productivity monitoring software.
Also on display at Chinaplas will be Husky’s new Ultra SideGate and UltraSync™-E hot runners. Ultra SideGate provides an easy-to-use solution for direct gating parts that cannot be effectively gated with a regular nozzle. UltraSync-E offers shot-to-shot and part-to-part consistency through precise stem closing to help eliminate variability from the injection molding process.
