Numerous visitors and exceptionally high-quality contacts – the verdict of Krones’ sales people on this year’s Anuga FoodTec was unanimously favourable. The majority of visitors came from European nations. But Krones also welcomed to its stand many trade visitors from Asia, not least from the Near and Middle East.

For the first time, the Neutraubling-based complete-system vendor was sharing a triple stand with its two subsidiaries Evoguard and HST. The resultant array of exhibits fitted in perfectly with the fair’s thematic framework, and covered all the key technologies involved in producing sensitive beverages: starting with the valves and pumps from Evoguard, then the latest homogeniser from HST, all the way through to the process technologies from Krones. A strong combination, which above all also attracted numerous potential new clients to Krones’ 560-m2 stand.

One of the major highlights for Krones came on the very first day of the Anuga FoodTec: when announcing the International FoodTec Award, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) summoned Krones on stage two times over. Thus one of the coveted Gold Medals went to the people who developed the energy- and resource-economical VarioSpin product deaerator. Another Gold Medal went to the “Transformation of thermal energy systems” project, which Murau Municipal Utilities had submitted in conjunction with the Murau Brewery and the Steinecker facility of Krones AG.
