KHS at Anuga FoodTec

KHS AG, international manufacturer of filling and packaging equipment for the beverage, food, and non-food industries, offers a complete range of line technology and associated services. At Anuga FoodTec, KHS AG, a 100% subsidiary of Klöckner-Werke AG, will exhibit jointly with KHS Corpoplast, KHS Plasmax, and KHS Moldtec.  The PET technology of the newly joined companies stands for Bottles & Shapes™ design and engineering, Blomax stretch blow molders, Plasmax barrier coating and Asbofill offering flexible, linear aseptic filling concepts for sensitive products. At Anuga FoodTec, KHS will be focusing mainly on pouch packaging.  Here too, KHS acts as a turnkey supplier, whose portfolio offers everything from form-fill-sealing machines to packing systems and includes a whole cartoner and palletizer product range. On the one hand, the KHS booth will be featuring the Innopouch CMF 30, the smallest version of the range of Innopouch CMF machines, but with the main focus on the Innopack CMP pouching system on the other.  Innopouch CMF machines are used to fill ready-made pouches with fitted spouts.  Pouches are fed to the Innopouch CMF machines suspended from a rail by means of the special feed system of the fully automatic Innopouch PRF.  The first station in each Innopouch CMF is the pouch receiving station.  In a further station, the pouches are either subjected to superheated steam, or treated with gas or vacuum, depending entirely on the product.  This is followed by the filling station.  The Innopouch CMF 30 presented at Anuga FoodTec uses a filling process that is based on electromagnetic inductive flowmetering.  Volume metering methods such as those using plunger-metering pumps are also available as an alternative.  The filling station is followed by the capping station.  The machine then separates the good pouches from the bad pouches and transfers them to separate conveying segments. The intermittent operation Innopouch CMF 30 is able to fill up to 30 pouches per minute, depending on the pouch size, type of spout, and product.  The machine is capable of processing pouches with capacities ranging from 100 ml to 2 liters for still products such as milk, fruit juice, water, or detergents.  The Innopouch CMF machine range also includes rotary fillers, which fill and seal pouches continuously at an output capacity of up to 260 pouches per minute.Like Innopouch CMF, the Innopack CMP poucher, which places the pouches into cartons, is a system offering maximum future-proofing.  The Innopack CMP is able to process pouches filled not only with liquid but with powdery or clumpy products as well. Regardless of whether pouches arrive horizontally and with the wide side first, horizontally and with the narrow side first, or upright - the system responds accordingly.  The Innopack CMP packs pouches at a rate between 60 and 250 pouches per minute with pouch sizes ranging from 90 mm wide and 100 mm high up to 200 mm wide and 250 mm high.  For other pack sizes please get in touch with us - we may be able to adapt the machine according to your requirements.  The Innopack CMP can fill cartons with pouches at a maximum of 30 cartons per minute. The pouch packs are conveyed suspended within the Innopack CMP and are held equalized by transport cartridges in compartments.  The Innopack CMP is a continuous motion machine.  Servo technology is used to position the conveying cartridges exactly above the secondary packaging readied by the cartoning station.  The pouches slide with utmost accuracy into the carton where they remain in an upright position.  On the one hand, this has the advantage of making optimum use of the space.  On the other, the display effect in the shops is enhanced considerably versus pouches that lie flat.  The Innopack CMP is also able to pack mixed packages if required. The Innopack CMP is characterized by low space requirements and can be perfectly integrated into existing systems.  In addition, this system offers further advantages such as extremely gentle product handling, continuous operation, and quick changeover.Hall 7.1  Booth F 011
