Individual tip heat control allows users to optimize processing and balance for each part on the fly. Thermally isolated heater zones allow users to adjust processing temperature of each tip. This advanced feature also gives users the ability to shut-off individual cavities from the controller during operation to minimize downtime. Heater zones can be bridged to minimize the number of zones.
Gate located tips are located to the gate of the cavity insert (as opposed to being affixed to the nozzle). This helps to provide superior gate quality as tip to gate concentricity is not influenced by thermal expansion or changes in processing temperatures. This ultimately maintains the most critical tolerance in ensuring part and gate quality. Tips can also be quickly and easily replaced from the parting line at room temperature.
Its innovative Speed-LOK center bolt design utilizes a single bolt to secure the four tips with the necessary pre-load for a reliable leak-proof seal. This simplified design minimizes components to speed up tip replacement/maintenance procedures to reduce downtime.
Dexa also incorporates Mold-Masters proven iFLOW manifold and Brazed Heater technologies. Together, these provide exceptional fill balance and rapid color change performance. Brazed heaters are available with our industry leading 10-year warranty.
