Americhem, headquartered in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, has announced an expansion to its Swedesboro N.J. based manufacturing plant known as Infinity LTL Engineered Compounds. The expansion includes a new production line, extending the company’s capacity by 1 million pounds per year. This will provide customers with improved lead times and better service.
“Due to the fact that our customers are experiencing significant growth, we have added this extra capacity to serve them with new and existing products,” said Jim Figaniak, vice president and general manager of Infinity LTL. “We’ve also increased capacity by adding a shift at the Morrisville location. We are witnessing a tremendous amount of growth driven by customers’ innovation and the time is right for the increased capacity.” Plans include commissioning an additional manufacturing line at the company’s Morrisville, Pa. location late in 2018. This will help maintain and improve their exceptional lead times, already among the shortest in the industry.
Infinity LTL’s product portfolio has also expanded with access to all of the products and services made by parent company Americhem. Americhem manufactures masterbatch, enhanced PVC alloys, TPEs, engineered polymer composites, dry blends, additives, special effects and more. As with all Americhem companies, customers can take advantage of dedicated, focused technical support.
