Husky showcases technologies to help customers be more competitive at Interplastica 2010

Moscow, Russia

Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced that at Interplastica 2010, it will be demonstrating a range of products and services to help customers be more competitive. Located at booth FE75 Forum (102.5 square meters), Husky will be displaying its industry-leading solutions to improve productivity and increase sustainability. “Exhibiting at Interplastica allows Husky to show the Central and Eastern European market the range of technologies that we offer to customers to help them expand their businesses,” said Thomas Hartkaemper, Husky’s General Manager, Central and Eastern Europe. “Our goal is to ensure that we can better react to the needs of this region by offering solutions that reduce lead times, minimize unplanned downtime and lower operating costs, thereby providing our customers with an attractive return on investment.” At Interplastica, Husky will be focusing on its complete system approach for the beverage packaging, thinwall packaging and medical markets. Also exhibited will be Husky’s latest hot runner and services offerings. This includes hot runner refurbishing capabilities, Shotscope® NX software to improve productivity and Husky’s new, expanded line of Altanium® Neo2™ temperature controllers. Husky is committed to effectively serving customers in Central and Eastern Europe and has made recent investments to do so. To strengthen local support for customers in this region, Husky opened a new facility in Moscow, Russia in September 2009 that provides local PET mold and hot runner refurbishing services. This investment is reflective of the company’s ongoing goal to strengthen its global network and build longstanding relationships with customers worldwide. “Customer feedback on our new Moscow facility has been very encouraging and demonstrates the long-term commitment and quality of business relationships that Husky has built in this region,” adds Mr. Hartkaemper.
