Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced the integration of its line of Altanium controllers with its worldwide hot runner manufacturing operations. Husky is the only hot runner supplier that has manufacturing and assembly facilities on three continents, producing fully integrated hot runner controllers. The complete range of Husky hot runners and Altanium controllers will be on display at Chinaplas April 17-20, 2008 in Shanghai, China (Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Hall E2, F01). |
“We’re always looking for ways to make our customers more productive and competitive,” said, Dinesh Budapanahalli, General Manager, Tooling Asia. “Combining Altanium and hot runner manufacturing at locations that are closer to where customers do business provides optimized systems at the fastest possible delivery times.”
Altanium is recognized throughout the industry for its accuracy, ease-of-use and flexibility. It uses ART (Active Reasoning Technology) to control heating elements within a hot runner system in order to maintain optimal temperatures, eliminating the scrap produced by a traditional runner system. Altanium also ensures the production of the highest quality parts possible, as it is the final control element before the plastic becomes a part. Altanium comes in several configurations – from 1 to 255 zones of control with three operator interfaces and four mainframe configurations to choose from.
