Husky names James Reid Vice President, Organizational Development

Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced the appointment of James Reid to the position of Vice President, Organizational Development. Mr. Reid will be responsible for human resources worldwide and will join Husky's executive team.“Husky is a great organization with a talented global team,” said Mr. Reid. “They share a strong culture and values and I look forward to being a part of this world class company.”Prior to joining Husky, Mr. Reid was Executive Vice President, Human Resources at MDS Inc., a global health sciences company. Mr. Reid joined MDS in 1989 and held a number of senior positions, including leading one of its largest divisions. Before MDS, he served in the Canadian Armed Forces.Mr. Reid holds an MBA from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard in Boston, Massachusetts.“Having a strong and motivated team is one of the most important factors in achieving our long term growth objectives,” said John Galt, Husky’s President and CEO. “I am pleased to welcome Jim to Husky. I am confident that his past experience will serve us well as we continue to grow and develop a team of people that fully embrace our values and can reach their fullest potential.”
