Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced the appointment of James Reid to the position of Vice President, Organizational Development. Mr. Reid will be responsible for human resources worldwide and will join Husky's executive team.

Prior to joining Husky, Mr. Reid was Executive Vice President, Human Resources at MDS Inc., a global health sciences company. Mr. Reid joined MDS in 1989 and held a number of senior positions, including leading one of its largest divisions. Before MDS, he served in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Mr. Reid holds an MBA from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard in Boston, Massachusetts.
