Husky debuts new HyCAP, demonstrates range of technologies for beverage packaging, medical and hot runners at NPE 2012

Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced that at NPE 2012 (April 2 – 5, Orlando, Florida) it will be showcasing its latest technologies for the beverage packaging, closures, medical and hot runner markets, demonstrating that it provides customers with the highest levels of quality, productivity and consistency.Located at Booth #3763 in the West Hall, Husky will have two systems running, including the latest generation HyCAP™ - a fully integrated injection molding system for beverage closure manufacturing that provides significant improvements in terms of productivity and ease-of-use. Also running at Husky’s booth will be a medical workcell that includes its H-MED AE™ (all-electric) injection molding machine for cleanroom medical molding. NPE will serve as the global introduction of Husky’s new HyCAP product which will feature two performance levels. The new HyCAP systems demonstrate Husky’s commitment to continuous improvement, delivering industry-leading cycle times together with the highest levels of reliability, repeatability and part quality. In addition, Husky will be demonstrating its comprehensive range of solutions for PET preform manufacturing and its dedication to supporting customers through their system’s complete lifecycle. The company’s objective is to provide beverage packaging suppliers of all sizes with the industry’s most comprehensive range of preform and closure manufacturing systems.The medical workcell on display will feature Husky’s H-MED AE (all-electric) injection molding machine, UltraSync™ hot runner technology, Shotscope NX® process and productivity monitoring software and an Altanium® temperature controller. As an integrated workcell, the system offers unparalleled levels of precision and control. Also on display at Husky’s booth will be its new Ultra SideGate™ hot runners. Ultra SideGate provides an easy-to-use solution for direct gating parts that cannot be effectively gated with a regular nozzle. In addition to its full range of injection molding equipment, Husky offers an unmatched level of global support in over 40 countries and a range of aftermarket services to keep equipment running at maximum efficiency.
