Excellent sustainability
Sustainability, environmental friendliness, the reduction of plastics, and recyclability are issues that present the packaging industry with a wide variety of challenges. Packaging materials are valuable resources that need to be collected, recycled, and preserved. Therefore, the development and expansion of the circular economy is a critical goal in the coming years. ILLIG’s proven sustainable packaging solutions are guided by the principle of "Circular Thinking" and have supported this concept for a long time. In another study completed this year by the F.A.Z. Institute, ILLIG is one of only a few companies to receive the rating "Excellent Sustainability 2021". The institute evaluated 438 million data points in a social listing for about 21,000 companies. The topic of sustainability was examined broadly and comprehensively in three event types of ecological, social, and economic sustainability in order to find out which companies act in a particularly sustainable manner.
