Greiner Packaging is increasing the transparency of its corporate landscape. As from 1 September 2009, Greiner Packaging International will be an independent legal entity changing into a holding which will unite all associated companies in the long run. Willi Eibner, CEO of Greiner Packaging International, claims: “Our priority is to create the framework for a long-lasting and successful development of the Packaging facilities.” The constant growth of Greiner Packaging requires clear and transparent structures within its organisation. For this, Greiner Packaging International plays an essential role. The new structureTo date, Greiner Packaging International has been registered as the Austrian part of Greiner Packaging GmbH, in other words, it is not currently a separate entity. As from 1 September 2009, it will change to become an independent legal entity. Greiner Packaging International is not engaged in operative activities in the packaging business, but will take the role as the holding company of the corporate association. It will directly cover the associated production companies. The Austrian Greiner Packaging GmbH will become a 100 per cent independent subsidiary of Greiner Packaging International. Locations and CEOs Since the beginning of 2009, the office of Greiner Packaging International GmbH has been located in Micheldorf, Upper Austria. The company is headed by CEO Willi Eibner. Headquarters of the Austrian Greiner Packaging GmbH are still in Kremsmünster. Werner Ninaus, Managing Director of Greiner Packaging GmbH, is responsible for company management.
