The company claims to accept a wide range of products such as coffee cups, wipe packaging, single use plastics, drink cartons etc. except liquids, foods and hazardous materials.
According to FirstMile their process follows three steps:
- Fill preowned/ordered box with chosen category of products
- Book collection online, print out and stick label on top
- Content will be recycled with help of specialist processing partners
First Mile founder and CEO, Bruce Bratley: “With the amount of different packaging materials being invented, it’s becoming even more complicated to recycle. The firm states that during the Covid-19 outbreak their service will run as normal and is currently offering all boxes with a 20% discount.
