The extrusion equipment manufacturer from Bad Oeynhausen is a supplier of innovative solutions for the plastics processing industry recently started work on new buildings to provide another 2.400 m² of additional space for production and administration.
Gneuss has been growing extremely rapidly for some time now. The reason behind this growth is an innovative product range which is closely oriented to its customers´ needs. In recent years, Gneuss has consistently transformed itself from a component supplier to a supplier of complete production lines and system solutions. An important market is polyester processing, where the Gneuss technology has in the meantime established itself as the new standard – especially where recycled material is used. Demand for the innovative products from Gneuss has however also increased in other areas such as in polyolefin recycling, in fibre and sheet manufacture, the compounding of special materials and foam sheet and insulation board.
Earlier this year, Gneuss purchased an additional 13.000 m² of land adjacent to the existing site, to ensure that sufficient room is available for expansion and some of this area will be used for the extensions and additions to the existing buildings. In addition to providing another 700 m² by adding another storey to the administration building, a further completely new building will be erected on the former car park which will increase the current production areas for the extruders, filtration systems and measurement sensors by 50 %.
Gneuss plans to have the building work completed and to be using the new offices and production areas by the end of this year.
