Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo signed the Memorandum of Agreement formalizing the partnership with CCBPI Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Director Atty. Juan Lorenzo TaΓ±ada in simple rites yesterday.
n accordance with the Tapon to Ipon project under the World Without Waste program, CCBPI will provide a baling machine to the Central MRF to flatten and compact the collected used plastic bottles that will be shipped outside of Dumaguete City.
Mayor Remollo believes in the objective of the project of ensuring that used Coca-cola plastic bottles can be recycled and reused as packaging of soft drinks and other beverage products βfor infinityβ thereby helping reduce the accumulation of plastic wastes for a healthier environment and cleaner Dumaguete.
