Croda awarded Innovate UK funding in ISCF Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge
Croda’s Smart Materials business will work in collaboration with Queen’s University Belfast to develop a new sustainable slip additive for polyester packaging. The R&D project starts in October 2020 and lasts for 12 months. The aim of this work is to develop a novel polymer additive solution to enable more efficient and sustainable processing of PET bottles via SBM, while having no impact on recyclability of the PET.
