Refresco and Gerber Emig confirmed today that the European Competition Commission have given a conditional green light for the merger of the two companies, creating a leading pan-European bottler of soft drinks and fruit juices to serve retail and branded customers.
The decision is conditional upon the divestment of Gerber Emig's production and bottling plant in Waibstadt, Germany.
