The Packaging division of KIEFEL GmbH, a market leader for thermoforming and joining technology, is under new management. Andreas Staudinger succeeds Erwin Wabnig, who has now retired after shaping the division for decades.
The handover took place at the turn of the year. As Global Director of Packaging, Staudinger will in particular focus on advancing fiber thermoforming and further strengthen the company's market position for packaging systems, tools and automation.
Andreas Staudinger is an experienced manager, bringing extensive market and process knowledge to the division. Before that, he headed the Automotive Division, the Supply Chain and overall production at Kiefel.
In future, the Packaging Division will especially focus on the continuous expansion of materials expertise. "Our next goal is to market our extensive range of machine solutions for polymer, bio-based, as well as new materials such as natural fibers more widely," said Staudinger. Simultaneously, the company is working on further development of the proven KMD and KTR machines for cups and trays. In addition, Kiefel will continue to expand its worldwide sales and service locations.
