BERICAP very pleased with this year’s Interpack

2:13 min Caps & Closures
Budenheim, Germany

BERICAP again attended this year‟s Interpack trade fair in Düsseldorf as an exhibitor. In an area of over 180 m², the closure manufacturer, which operates internationally, presented established products as well as new developments in closures for various markets, e.g. such as for drinks, food, automotive, chemistry and agricultural chemistry.“BERICAP is very pleased with the result of this year‟s INTERPACK. Our stand enjoyed lively popularity and we held many excellent discussions with high-level visitors,” said BERICAP Holding Marketing and Sales Director Volker Spiesmacher.Visitors from all continents showed an interest in BERICAP products. Most of the visitors came from Europe but there were also many visitors from South America, Asia and India – the regions in which BERICAP also has production sites, as a global supplier of plastic closures.“As well as weight and cost saving with lighter closures, one central, strategically important topic for many companies was the conservation of so-called „non-renewable resources‟ and the reduction of the greenhouse effect,” Volker Spiesmacher said.In addition to the already well-established, light closure solutions for beverages, BERICAP presented other weight-saving closure and threaded neck solutions for PCO 1881. As such, e.g. light HexaLite closures 26/10 and 29/11 and the associated weight-saving threaded necks were able to score points with the specialist public.A newly developed, 26 mm closure series specifically for edible oil, which saves on raw materials and fulfils the broadest range of marketing requirements, was also received with interest.A new, silicone-free valve closure suitable for viscous foods also found a high level of acceptance with ketchup and mayonnaise fillers. In the area of chemical technology, visitors were particularly interested in the special closures to protect against product piracy, especially as the chemical industry experiences significant losses every year as a result of counterfeits of its products.BERICAP’s booth INTERPACK 2011

“BERICAP is very pleased with the result of this year?s INTERPACK. Our stand enjoyed lively popularity and we held many excellent discussions with high-level visitors,” said BERICAP Holding Marketing and Sales Director Volker Spiesmacher.

Visitors from all continents showed an interest in BERICAP products. Most of the visitors came from Europe but there were also many visitors from South America, Asia and India – the regions in which BERICAP also has production sites, as a global supplier of plastic closures.

“As well as weight and cost saving with lighter closures, one central, strategically important topic for many companies was the conservation of so-called „non-renewable resources? and the reduction of the greenhouse effect,” Volker Spiesmacher said.

In addition to the already well-established, light closure solutions for beverages, BERICAP presented other weight-saving closure and threaded neck solutions for PCO 1881.
