Great for miniatures, but blows big bottles too
The SIPA ECS SP system is ideal for production of specialty products such as containers for cosmetics, dairy, personal care, pharmaceuticals and spirits, mainly found in sizes between 10 and 50 mL. But larger containers – as large as 12.5 liters – and even wide-mouth jars can be accommodated too.
Less down-time for mold changes
Switching from one product to another is now faster than ever on the ECS SP, thanks to a new quick mold-change system. Times can be cut by around a quarter in fact. New features also add extra safety and user-friendliness for operators.
Food-contact preforms from rPET flakes in a single step
SIPA will be talking about PET bottle recycling too. It will highlight XTREME Renew, the system it codeveloped with recycling technology specialist EREMA, which enables production of preforms directly from recycled PET flakes.
The circular economy
SIPA’s General Manager Enrico Gribaudo is talking in the Bottle Zone Technical Forum about PET preform manufacturing in the era of the circular economy. He will discuss how to use the “Three Rs” – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – while saving energy and improving part quality.
Making the best use of our refurbishing facilities
Morris De Marchi, PET Packaging and Tooling Life Cycle Service Director at SIPA North America, will show how local refurbishing and conversion centers can provide a fast and efficient way of upgrading production – without having to make a major investment in completely new tooling.
