AQUAFIL Engineering GmbH (Berlin, Germany) announces the successful start-up of a Polyester Polycondensation Plant for BOPET Film in India with the latest state of the art AQUAFIL Engineering Technology.
The speciality of the plant is the Direct Film Casting Technology (DFC) of AQUAFIL Engineering which is the first single line worldwide. The equipment (up to polymer film line pump) of the DFC Technology was completely delivered by AQUAFIL Engineering. The DFC Technology has lower investment and extremely low energy costs (no chips drying, no extrusion) and low amount of waste, which gives the lowest conversion costs available today in the market. The product quality and run ability has made a remarkable step upwards.
AQUAFIL Engineering has long experiences in building and designing continuous and batch polycondensation plants for PET polymers for textile, film and bottle grades. The AQUAFIL 2-Reactor Polyester Technology has been presented at the end of 2003 for the first time. Until today AQUAFIL Engineering has sold 8 plants of 2-Reactor Polyester Technology for various applications with or without further direct processing of melt.
