Americhem announces appointment of Technical Director, EMEA

Americhem Inc., a global provider of custom color and additive solutions for the polymer and synthetic fibres industries, recently announced the promotion of Michael Frisch as technical director for the company?s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. 

In his new role, Michael will be responsible for managing product development for all of our customers in EMEA,? said Thomas Weigl, vice president and managing director, EMEA. ?He will lead our European technical team in product design, support our operations and sales groups, and maintain a primary focus on optimizing customer solutions.? Frisch has served as technical service manager for the company?s European synthetic fibres business as well as development and design manager, EMEA. He joined Americhem in 2008 when he worked at the company?s Manchester (UK) manufacturing plant. He currently resides and works in Augsburg, Germany, to better serve Americhem?s customers on the European continent.Frisch possesses extensive background in customer service, fibres production, and research and development. He came to Americhem from Trevira where he focused on solution-dyed yarn development and masterbatch processing. Frisch graduated from the University of Applied Science, Coburg-Munchberg, as an engineer in textile technologies.
