Consequently, both companies team up again: Akij broaden their product portfolio with the manufacture of BOPET packaging films and go for the latest stretching line technology from Brückner. Just one example: The revolutionary high temperature MD stretch technology ensures high quality films with unmatched physical and optical properties. The new state-of-the-art line provides 8.7m film width and production speeds above 500 m/min. These are only sheer numbers. Just as significant is the fact that with this investment Akij Group is again spearheading the Bangladesh market – this time for oriented polyester film.
