Polyplex Ltd. has purchased its 4th polycondensation plant for polyester film production with AQUAFILEngineering Technology. Polyplex Ltd. is the 4th largest thin film producer in the world and operatestoday already three 2-Reactor PET polycondensation plants of AQUAFIL Engineering.
The new plant will use the latest innovation of AQUAFIL Engineering: “Low Building Technology” (LBT) Polycondensation Plant.
The Low Building Technology (LBT) was originally developed to avoid high building structures inEarth Quake Areas. The LBT plant fits into a hall and does not require any difficult building structuresand floor levels. The advantage of the customer is the amazing reduction in building and erection costand time. Additionally the LBT plant achieves the lowest electrical consumption worldwide comparedto standard plants.
AQUAFIL Engineering has long experiences in building and designing continuous and batch polycondensation plants for PET polymers for textile, film and bottle grades. The AQUAFIL 2-Reactor Polyester Technology has been presented at the end of 2003 for the first time. Until today Aquafil Engineering has sold more than nine plants with 2-Reactor Polyester Technology for various applications with or without further direct processing of melt.
