DLG awards three german plants of FrieslandCampina for long-term quality

Amersfoort, Netherlands

The highest quality standards and consistent quality assurance are a firm pillar of FrieslandCampina's corporate strategy. The dairy cooperative has now been honored by the DLG (German Agricultural Society) for this: the three plants in Germany – Heilbronn, Cologne and Schefflenz – received the “Award for Long-Term Product Quality”.

The DLG award is only given if food manufacturers have the quality of their products checked by the DLG Food Test Center for at least five years in a row and achieve at least three awards per year. Just like FrieslandCampina Germany, which has had its products checked regularly by DLG experts for years. And with great success: the FrieslandCampina plant in Schefflenz has received the “Award for Long-Term Product Quality” for the 16th time, the plant in Heilbronn for the 25th time and the plant in Cologne for the 34th time.

The satisfaction of our customers is our top priority," says Guido Kühne, Managing Director DACH at FrieslandCampina Germany. “To guarantee them, we rely on consistent quality assurance, among other things. Regular inspections of our products by the DLG are just as important as other strict and independent external and internal controls. The "Award for Long-Term Product Quality" award is a very important confirmation of the success of our quality strategy and encourages us to consistently continue and develop it further," says Kühne.
